My dad, a couple of good friends and I went to see The Shins at Red Rocks on my last night in Colorado. The night was definitely bittersweet: I was ecstatic to be there while at the same time sad knowing I wouldn't be get to see a show there and be home for a while. I'll always love Colorado and Red Rocks.
After the concert I realized how excited I was to go to London the next morning to see a good friend and then, finally, to get to India.

We are excited to read your India blogs--what an experience. We have been reading/listening to a biographical book titled Shantaram (40 CD's believe it or not)wherein the author escaped from prison in New Zealand and fled to India. His description of the country and the people are remarkable. All true! So, we are envious of your experience. Also, and coincidentally, we just saw the movie "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" which was filmed in India and is really great.
